Health, Dental, & Life Insurance
We offer the standard 80/20 Health plan, Dental insurance and a $10,000 Life Insurance policy. Along with these policies we offer a prescription card. After a 90 day waiting period drivers become eligible to enroll in the plan. This waiting period includes any and all dependents. After 6 months, G.F. Lacaeyse Transport will cover the cost of the premiums on the driver and the driver only. The driver would still have to cover his/her dependents. If the driver elects to join the plan, weekly deductions from the driver's paycheck will be to cover the cost of the premium.
Rider Policy
After successfully completing 90 days you become eligible to take a passenger with you. The cost to you is $10.00 per month.
Vacation Pay

Additional Benefits
Layover pay
You will be eligible for $25.00 per day after the first 24 hours. The company considers it a layover when we are unable to find the driver a load. With the miles our drivers average, layovers are not a major problem. If there is no freight in the area we simply move to an area that has freight.
Drop Pay
For each additional pick-up or delivery after the first stop or pick-up, we give the driver $10.00.
Lumper Pay
Driver inquire about the lumpers on a regular basis. The simple answer is all lumper pay must be authorized through dispatch prior to unloading. We ask the drivers to help on pallet breakdowns.
Home Time and Time Off
As a driver running the Midwest you can expect to be out 2 weeks depending on where you live and a driver who runs the West Coast can expect to be out for 3 weeks. For each and every week you are out, you will receive 1 day off. We request that you give us at least 2 weeks notice. (A week is 7 days long.) Time off may not always include a weekend.
